Local Lib Dem Jane Naghi has been selected as Lib Dem Candidate for the Borough Council elections in May.

Jane with her husband, popular Borough Councillor Dave Naghi, and Family, have lived in Maidstone for many years. She has supported Dave on many issues like his youth work at Howard de Walden.

David was educated in Maidstone where he lives with his wife and three children. He has represented East Ward in the Borough Council since 2002, is a member of the Recreation and Community Committee, and is on the selection panel for Independent persons on the Standards Committee.

He was Leader of Howard de Walden Youth Group for over 8 years and is now the Centre Manager.

He is also a member of the organising Committee for the Maidstone River Festival, Trustree for Cutbush & Corral (almshouses) and Chairman of Maidstone Sea Cadets (TS Scott).
